Charm Bracelet Workshop
During The London Festival of Architecture 2008, I ran a workshop at the High Street 2012 Summer Picnic, organised by Fluid Architects who work on the regeneration of the area around the road between Aldgate and Stratford in East London.
Comparing the road to a charm bracelet they asked me to run a jewellery workshop during the event.
With passers by we built a giant bracelet of 3 meters for which I designed components. The beads were made out of pine moulding and beading that where drilled in such a way that they could be strung together to form buildings, cars, goats, trees, boats etc.
